Diese Richtlinie gilt für das Kleben von Rohren und Rohrleitungsteilen aus Polyvinylchlorid (PVC-U), Chloriertem Polyvinylchlorid (PVC-C) und Acrylnitril-Butadien-Styrol (ABS) gemäß den Normen EN 1329 (PVC-U), EN ISO 1452 (PVC-U), EN 1455 (ABS), EN 1566 (PVC-C) und EN ISO 15493 (PVC-U, PVC-C und ABS) und EN ISO 15877 (PVC-C). Die Richtlinie wird als Ersatz für die Richtlinien DVS 2204-3 Ausgabe März 2016, DVS 2204-4 Ausgabe Dezember 2011 und DVS 2204-5 Ausgabe März 2013 veröffentlicht.
