Cold Spray (CS) is a promising solid-state Additive Manufacturing (AM) technology for the fabrication and repair of components, offering minimal thermal degradation, low porosity and high deposition rates. The quality of the CS deposits strongly depends on feedstock powder characteristics such as particle size and distribution (PSD), morphology and composition. However, conventional powder production techniques offer limited tunability and are often constrained by supplier availability, affecting powder customization, quality, and consistency.
